Once you say yasss, contact me and my team by submitting an inquiry form. You’ll get a call from our team within 72-hours. She’ll get to know you, give you details about our new mama experience, and help you select a date. Maternity sessions usually take place at an outdoor location, unless you are interested in maternity boudoir. Once your retainer and date are set, you’ll receive our signature maternity prep-guide that outlines how to prepare for your session, including what to wear, what to expect, do’s/don’t, and so much more.

Today’s your session day! We will meet at your photoshoot location. I always encourage clients to bring props such as sonograms, baby shoes, significant others, or any other special items you want in your photos. The more prop options, the more personal your session can be! I’ll give you posing directions, so just show up ready for a good time and be the Queen Mama-to-be that you are.
THE DAY OF YOUR MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT!
We’ll schedule your photo reveal session for a week or so after your photoshoot. You’ll see your photos for the first time in our private viewing room, where we will review the products together and pick your favorite shots.This is the only chance you’ll have to order photos, so I’ll help you choose the perfect keepsakes. (For your digital privacy, any photos that are not selected will be permanently purged.) Any products you order during the session will be delivered within 2-3 weeks.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY FAQs
The perfect time for most moms is between 30-34 weeks. Your baby belly will be showing nicely without causing you too much discomfort.
Plan ahead to secure a spot! Most moms book during their first or second trimester. This gives us time to plan and prepare for your session.
You can wear a maternity gown. In our maternity prep-guide, I outline different options and places to shop if you would like to purchase an outfit. We have some local Jacksonville shops and online boutiques!
Absolutely! Just let me know who to expect. There will be outfit recommendations in the maternity prep-guide for your spouse or other family members too.
Jenn will help you select a location depending on the vibe/look you are going for. You two will discuss this on your phone consultation. Our Maternity photoshoots take place in and around Jacksonville, FL and St. Augustine, FL. Some women like to take photos indoors and others love to get their toes onto a Jacksonville Beach! If you are a maternity boudoir mama, those sessions must take place in my private, in-home studio.
110%, yes! Take this day to pamper yourself and get all glammed up. I can provide you with hair and makeup recommendations in your maternity prep-guide.
This is a scheduled appointment about a week or so after your photoshoot, where you will come back into the studio to see your photos! We will review the maternity products collection together and pick your favorite photos. I will guide you through this appointment and give you my expert opinion. You can choose which digital collection you want after seeing your gallery (unless pre-selected). This is the only chance you can order your photos. Any photos that are not selected will be purged permanently to preserve your digital privacy.
Yes! I call it my Belly to Baby package. You’ll get a discount if you select both maternity and newborn sessions at time of booking.
Most of my maternity sessions take place at sunrise (7 am) or sunset (6:30 pm), depending on daylight savings time. In-studio maternity or maternity boudoir sessions are typically at 11 am.
Of course! Some of my favorite sessions have been on the beach and I know all the magical spots. Tell us your ideal beach if you want a maternity photoshoot on the beach - you got it, Queen!
Yasss! I love traveling to new locations for sessions. This does change the investment some, so if you’d like me to travel to you just let me know where you are on your consultation call. We’ll work out all the details to get you the photos you deserve!
