How to prepare for your bridal boudoir session

How exciting! You are getting married and it is time to celebrate! I absolutely love when brides book a bridal boudoir session with me. It’s such a special time in your life and it deserves to be captured. Before your session

There is plenty to consider when you book your bridal boudoir session but I’ll make it as easy as possible for you! Follow these steps and you’ll be sure to have a killer session.

• Choose your lingerie/outfit/accessories

  • Plan on something special for him if it’s a gift. For example, if he has a jersey or work uniform you could pose in.
• Get your ring cleaned
• Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure
• Stay hydrated and moistrurized in the days leading up to your shoot
• Consider how you want to gift your images
  • Do you want to do a little black book? Maybe a delicate, glass box for your portraits? We have options to fit a number of budgets and desires.

These may seem silly but they’ll help make your experience even better!

Day of your session

It’s a big day and you’re full of nerves! However, there are a few things I want to be sure you remember in order for us to capture all of the looks we’re aiming for in our 90 minutes together. Packing everything the night before is a great way to ensure you have everything ready to go.

• Bring your wedding shoes
• Bring your wedding veil
• Bring any accessories that will add a unique or special touch to your session
• Stretch before you arrive!
  • We’re going to be working during our time together so you’ll want to be sure your limbered up.

After your session

When we have wrapped up your session you’re going to be so hyped up! Plus, you will be all dolled up from your shoot so take advantage of it and plan a date night with your fiance after we wrap. It’s a fun way to complete your day and you’ll be feeling like a queen so go strut your stuff!
