I’ve know Tiyaka for many years. She’s amazing, smart, and confident! But as a plus size woman, she admitted to me that she’d never have thought to do a boudoir photo session.

Sadly, that’s the case for many beautiful plus-size women. They’re not encouraged to celebrate their skin and often miss out on seeing just how glamorous they are.

Thankfully, Tiyaka had me as the little birdy in her ear - encouraging her to let me capture her glow. I was not about to let her miss out on the chance to celebrate her skin!

Plus Size Boudoir Photography That Lit A Spark

You see, Tiyaka is currently on a fitness journey and has lost over 100 pounds already. (Literally, so inspiring!) After doing this boudoir photoshoot, she told me she felt beautiful and seeing her photos has lit a new spark inside her. She loved everything about her session - from getting pampered with hair and make up to seeing her photos for the first time.

And she loved her photos so much that she wants to celebrate her final goal with another boudoir session! She feels so confident in her skin and ready to continue documenting her journey. I’m so honored she stepped in front of my camera and can’t wait for our next shoot!
