The why behind each product in the shop

For those of you that don’t know, I’m a photographer based in Jacksonville, FL specializing in cultivating photos through every season of a woman’s life through boudoir, maternity, and newborn sessions. I’ve become known as the “Yasss Queen” photographer because I say it all the time during sessions!

During the summer of 2021, I rebranded my business and wanted to add something different to my brand. I started brewing up some ideas. I wanted something that would connect with women from around the world, celebrating the queen in all of them. That was when the online merch store idea came to life. I wanted this to be something that revolved around uplifting, inspiring, and empowering women to be their best selves. Each product has a special meaning so I wanted to share it with you! Here is the why behind each product in the shop:

Yasss Queen Crew Neck Sweatshirt

This design was created to embody my phrase “yasss queen!” I wanted something that was a statement so when you walk by some and someone reads it they feel encouraged! This crew will be my go-to so causal days, perfect to pair with your favorite jeans or leggings.

Blossom Babe T-Shirt

As a woman – our bodies are ever changing depending on the season of life we are in. Whether its from becoming a teenager to a woman, to birthing a new life, to lifestyle changes. The body sketch with the leaf represents Growth, which can look different for every woman because we’re all in completely different stages and places in our lives. The word blossom stems from a mantra I found a year ago that has really stuck with me and feels like it is super relatable to life. The mantra reads as such:

Every experience in life prepares you for the next one. You can’t always choose where you are, but you can choose to make the best of it. You can control your thoughts, actions, and attitude. Always strive to be your best self. Stay positive, practice gratitude, and bloom where you are planted.

Empowered Women Empower Women T-shirt

This shirt design was completed inspired by my sorority Sigma Lambda Gamma ! The sorority’s vision is “empowered women empower the world” and that is exactly what I want women to feel when they wear this shirt. Be a leader or a trailblazer that will make a difference in your community by uplifting each other and giving back. This design is extra special because my line sister Angelica Franklin created it. Yasss Queen Mug

Who loves a good cup or coffee or tea in the morning!? EVERYONE. When designing this mug, I wanted something different than a white ceramic mug. The clear glass mug gives more of a modern and luxe feel and I want you to feel fancy when you sip your beverage in the morning. The “YASSS” is bolded in yellow to embody positive energy. I want you to feel like you will conquer your day after using this mug.

This black bag’s design is how I want each and EVERY woman to feel after they have had a boudoir, maternity, or newborn photography experience with me. The woman sketch design represents the beauty that we carry day to day.

Daily Reminder Sticker

This is your daily reminder that self-love isn’t selfish. As women, we are always doing things for other people like serving our job daily, cooking/cleaning/caring for our significant other/family, or helping a friend out with a special project. This is your reminder to STOP and do something YOU love and enjoy doing. This is a way to live in your purpose and pause to take care of yourself too. Love yourself – I give you permission to do it because you deserve it.
