And this year I got to step into that role again to photograph the baby announcement, maternity photos, and in-home newborn photos for their second son, baby Andre.

When Maternity and Newborn Photography Becomes Heirlooms

A tradition the Adams family started for both their kids was to create baby album packages. Each baby album package included baby announcements, maternity photos, and newborn photos to hang in their home.

In fact, when I went to do their latest in-home newborn photos, I saw so much of my artwork for the boys hanging on their walls. It was so emotional for me! It’s heartwarming to know they invested in baby photo albums for their kids, so they can be passed down as they grow up. As they grow, these maternity and newborn photos will become heirlooms -a unique gift they'll be able to share with their own children some day.

The love this family has for each other is so deep – I’m not above saying I may have teared up writing this! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them in the future.
